I'm hoping I'll find something locally at a hardware store that will work. You're right... it would cost more to ship it than it's worth.

An off center blade is a peeve of mine too. I know it doesn't hurt the performance but it really bugs me to pay hard earned money for something and it not be made right. I know some of it is human error when it was assembled. But sometimes it's just loose tolerances or defective parts.

I got this one in the early 90s. It was my first Benchmade and my first, what I considered to be at the time, expensive folder. All I had carried up to that point were Gerbers. I edc'd that thing for years and used it hard when I was an electrician. Great knife.
