Slower week here, yet still quite delightful... A Shapleigh HDW DE stockman model 1048, all nickel/steel and at 4” even. Snappy smooth and tight blades, sweet liners and scales, and a great bit of metal remaining. Sharp Schradey lines, not really messed with overall and I just lurve this shield.

@mcc850 Thank you! Yes they certainly had a great coco batch for these 15s. The blade’s lines and long—pull got me even before the handles, believe it or not.

Well, this dropped in on Mom’s day... clean as a whistle, snappy as a turtle and I’m not waiting for BFday. Robeson 3”1/4 model 122415 made between 1910-21 in black composite. Feels like bake-lite in hand. A great Tuesday to all

Total agreement, as I do have both. Another series that’s caught my attention lately are the 2004-7 SWA***Y Camillus made Schrades. Very, very well put together.

What a Sunday indeed.... Mom’s Day and all!! This beauty of a POCKETEZE (my 3rd) jack just landed this morning. The main’s tang suggests 1911-21 build of composite handles and 3”1/4 length. It looks barely used, doesn’t look cleaned, smooth action with snap and tight in the bolsters. It’s now...

A stockman for Mom’s Sunday... From the 1981 Schrade Tradesman series... Mr. E. Albers kindly pointed this out, as I had no idea these existed. Beautiful green bone, action, ss blades and a kool etch. A peaceful and great Mother’s Day to all
