Knife abuse by friends and family members

I learned long ago not to lend a knife you care about.

What does your bladeforums username mean?

Thanks for responding. I haven't been a gamer since my Sega system days in the 90s.

What does your bladeforums username mean?

I used to play NTN trivia in bars in the 90s. To play, each person (or team) got a remote control box which was used to answer multiple choice trivia questions that came up on a monitor. You needed a name so your team could be identified but were limited to 6 characters. I liked the name...

I hate to recommend them because I don't like the company, but Amazon has really good ones. Search "Goodthreads men's short-sleeve chambray shirt".

Victorinox Swisscard I found, why can't I find this one anywhere online?

The fact that it says "Nomex DuPont" makes me think it was a special give-away. Outside of contacting Victorinox or DuPont, I have no idea how you'd find out the manufacturing date.

    The Cheap pen?

I prefer a nice metal pen. I have 5 different ones that take the Fisher ink cartridges. I use the plastic throw-a ways for loaner purposes.

Do you ever take along a knife specifically to use at table when attending a BBQ or visiting a steakhouse for a meal?

The repeated assertion that it is a necessity to bring your own knife because what restaurants provide is so woefully inadequate; is what I find silly. If someone simply prefers to cut their food with a pocket knife just admit it.
