    Photos RIP Ronybear;

    So sorry to hear of his passing. I always looked forward to reading his posts, as his perspective was always well informed. As MikeH said, he was a stellar trader—and gentleman—here on the forums. Also had a great sense of humor. One of the best.

    I like that blade profile, but again, not enough difference compared to my S5LE’s to make me pull the trigger.

    Same here. Plus after looking closer at the D2 BD specs, the blade’s not all that much shorter or thinner than my modded S5LE’s, which are some of my favorite knives all time. Could be why I didn’t buy a BD earlier.

    THE BUSSE CHAT THREAD!

    Busse asym edge on a satin blade— Convex edge on right side: Minimal (almost micro) flat edge bevel on left: On coated Busse blades the flat-side bevel is often somewhat more prominent than in this pic. The convex-side bevel is wider on some asym models than on others, also.

    Are your books open for DLC work, just not mods? Was wondering if I read your op right? Thx

    Cool. What’s it weigh naked? Oh, and how thick were the original scales from BUSSE? (If you have some way of measuring?) Thanks!
