    Snow & Nealley time line

I discovered, through the use of Google-Fu, a Snow and Nealley 3-1/2 lb double bitted axe being sold by a GA company called Gardener's Tool Shed. Their website is spartan, to put it kindly, but the pic online appears to show a Smyrna, ME haft marking. At $80 including a sheath, I thought it...

Concerns About Survive! Business and Misleading Lead Time Estimates

I preordered two knives about 15 months ago. In that time, the steel for them has arrived. They are nowhere near the top of the queue. Do I feel misled? Yes, but not enough for me to pull my orders yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No love for the manix 2 lw

Since acquiring a Caly 3.5 I have retired my Manix 2 lw and sold my pm2. As an edc it's better than either.

    Spyderco Gayle Bradley 2

I like to use small lanyards made from reflective paracord--makes it a lot easier to find in the dark if need be. On balance I prefer the 2 though. EDC is the whole point of folding knives imo. If I can't conveniently carry it every day, it might as well be a fixed blade.

    Spyderco Gayle Bradley 2

Another departure with the GB2 that I've seen no mention of: no lanyard hole. I will miss that, personally.

    Spyderco Gayle Bradley 2

One thing I was very interested in was the sharpness of the edges of the liners. The liners on my GB1 slice my hands if carried in my right front pocket. The GB2 liners appear to be radiused just enough to do away with that problem.

That knife is beyond repair. I'll take it off your hands for 50 bucks.

New Knife For A Military Man?

Don't know why no one has suggested the Spyderco Gayle Bradley. Tough knife in M4 and very little to go wrong.

    Sebenza

Something is odd about this. Minus the spine bashing, which I would never do to any folder, I just put considerably more force on the lock of my 21 than the knife in that video appears to have experienced, roughly 80 pounds to the butt of the handle. To my utter lack of surprise, nothing...

    Hunting knife/set question

Funny you should mention Gene. One of my favorites is an Ingram in flat ground D2 that I bought from him on eBay back when he was just getting started. I paid just over $100 for it. I've skinned and field dressed three boar hogs in a weekend with it and only touched up the edge after because I...

Which knife would you carry for feild dressing

There are literally thousands of fixed blades that would be fine for the task. A couple that come to mind are the Benchmade bone collector and the buck alpha hunter, but any fixed blade drop point knife with 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 inches of blade with at least a little belly to it will be fine. You...
