Who would be happy only Civivi or similar knife?

I just picked a Civivi McKenna, and the fit and finish is spectacular. I just think that a small gents knife, a blade steel like 14c28n or Nitro V (Ferum Forge) might be better choice because of the superior corrosion resistance.

    Front Flipper Fans?

I guess I will ride to GP knives in a few minutes and check one out.

I think there are very few who post here who would be content with knife for too long.;)

    Front Flipper Fans?

I love mine. I bought my first front flipper years ago at the annual St. Louis Knife Show. It was a nice carbon fiber custom made by a South African whose name I have forgotten. It was only $150, man, I should have kept it. I think I may buy a Civivi McKenna to go with my Exarch.

Bang for the Buck S35VN Flippers: Ferrum Forge Gent or Kizer Gemini?

Drop just sold out of Gents. Maybe they will restock.

Bang for the Buck S35VN Flippers: Ferrum Forge Gent or Kizer Gemini?

I see the Gent has gotten five to the Gemini’s one. The Gent just might be the winner. It is $62 cheaper than the Gemini.

Bang for the Buck S35VN Flippers: Ferrum Forge Gent or Kizer Gemini?

I have a blue D2 Elementum and I love it. I just love 2.5-3.1” blade folders. Although I am working at home now, I still love those office friendly size folders.

Bang for the Buck S35VN Flippers: Ferrum Forge Gent or Kizer Gemini?

Having talked trash about titanium and carbon fiber, I admit that I miss not having a knife made from either material. I also have a claim on a We Banter whenever my local dealer gets their shipment. I have some nice sensible gents blades already, but nothing as fancy as the Gent or Gemini (the...

Stropping a knife by hand, literally.

I think hand stropping has to be dangerous, but leather is skin that has been treated. I guess hand stropping is possible.

Don’t sweat it. If you post online long enough, you are bound to say something you will regret. Have a great evening!

Who would be happy only Civivi or similar knife?

I had one years ago. It was a good knife. I want one in titanium like a custom Laconico. I love the classic simplicity of his designs.

Who would be happy only Civivi or similar knife?

Talking about these bargain Chinese knives has got me thinking about one I always wanted, but never bought: the Kizer Gemini. I guess I will be a hypocrite and order a titanium knife after all, even if it is a pretty cheap knife for a titanium s35vn knife.

Who would be happy only Civivi or similar knife?

Actually snail trails are alright once I get used to them, but I always hate the first few scratches.

Who would be happy only Civivi or similar knife?

What makes a knife fun is pretty subjective, kind of like what makes a woman pretty. Thankfully, makers produce a lot of different knives.

Who would be happy only Civivi or similar knife?

After 21 years of posting on forums, my philosophy is to be positive. I will not keep dealing with someone who is negative. I can ignore trash talk once it is apparent that trash talk is mainly what someone has to offer.

Who would be happy only Civivi or similar knife?

Bead blasted titanium has a good grip, I hate the snail trails, but that is the price of having a titanium user.

Who would be happy only Civivi or similar knife?

There was a time when I could say that about FRN Spydercos, but even they are getting too expensive, especially the Native.

Those Hogues are killer! I have two Dekkas, and they are too smooth! I will be a hypocrite and say S20V instead of S30V for less than any G10 Benchmade Axis Lock is great too. As for the Protech Sprint, it is a nice knife, but very thick behind the edge.

Who would be happy only Civivi or similar knife?

I am here to talk knives, not trade insults. If you want to talk knives, fine. I have no use for people who get off on insulting people behind the screens of their devices. If you honestly had difficulty understanding my first post, it was not because I did not write clearly. I will say no more...
