Hahaha Jac, your funny. Thanks guys for the comments. It is so funny how the BK9 is so small isn't it?
The next thing im eyeing at Kukri house is the Mutant slayer.... its really the ultimate indestructible looking sword.
Hey guys just wanted to post some pictures of my beautiful 20" CAK. I don't buy leather products so Yangdu was nice enough to make a custom camo sheath for me that had no leather. This is a really beautiful beast of a knife. I haven't chopped much with it yet, but I can't imagine it being...
Just got these amazing knives from Khukhuri house! I have not really tested them in chopping but just looking at them and holding them and handling them its so incredible. I also had kydex sheaths made for them by KH House and they did a phenomenal job! Now this is by no means a comprehensive...
The GCB and the thickness of the CAK remind me of this fabled knife made by Dan Keffler called the monster. It was 10 inch bowie style knife with a 1/2 inch thick spine and was made of CPM3V!! It was the mother of all tough knives and much like the CAK and GCB, super overbuilt, excessive and...
In some ways I think the CAK is more awesome than the GCB even in the looks department, because firstly its a khuk and they already look very interesting... and secondly its pure thickness makes it very imposing/impressive.... they are generally thicker than GCBs I believe.
So I was looking at videos of various khukuris on youtube and I came across this guy Simon hengle who is feverishly measuring all different khukuri's and comparing them to antique ww2 ones.
Hey guys so I got word on pricing from Yangdu. The GCB is quite expensive so unfortunately I think I'm going to have to stick to just getting a 20" CAK. Maybe one day in the future I'll go for the GCB.
LOL you guys are funny.
I feel like ordering now but I just want to know the specs and prices for the chitlangi bowie so I know what I'm paying for. So I'll keep checking for that, soon as I see it if its not too expensive, I'll go for it!
Turbo, very generous of you man. I'll keep your offer in mind!
I think I'm going to wait for the pricing and specs of the chitlangi bowies which I heard are coming back in July and then buy it depending on that.
But damn buying a chitlangi bowie and a CAK is going to put me out of like $500 :(
