    Saturday ends with a " Y " , so I guess it is OK to post this old Kronenkrebs .It has a locking mechanism on the under side of the handle so does that make it a Lock Belly ??? Harry

    I believe that your Schmachtenberg is only the Second one that I have seen . It is nice to see that most of the Stamping on the Blade of the AXE is still visible . In fact , it is more visible than the one on mine is . Does it have wooden covers or ???? Harry

    Thank you very much Charlie and @herder . Henckels sure knew how to do a fine job of making and finishing a knife down to the last little detail . The knives being shown just indicate to me that maybe I should have been trying to find more of them through the years . Harry

    I use Slips a lot for protection of from other items but more importantly for protection from body moisture that will interact with any brass that is in or on the knife . I never leave a knife in a slip over night or a slip in my pocket over night . Let the air dry them out . Harry

    Maybe it would have been more interesting if you would have been given a Racing Turtle Jack . they might be 25 to 33% faster . Harry
