Wife likes this, but wants a dark (black) pocket clip (she likes the deep carry clip), Does anyone make one to fit their hole pattern in black, or, being what looks like stonewashed stainless, how I could blacken it? Was thinking about having a friend that cerakotes spray it.

Just ordered the short deep pocket clip from GPK. If it works on my 112 slims (select and micarta), you will hear my happy yell from Michigan! It will be the closest I can get to a vantage-like pocket clip for the 112 slim series.

Cool, I have a deep carry, black clip for a Delica on the way, to screw on to my wife's 110 Slim, great tip, thanks again, Jazzz!

Do you mean the Lynch Northwest (model# LNW-029)?

LNW-028 is the one I ordered. Short stonewashed. It arrives Friday. If it works on my 112 slim pro micarta, I will immediately order a second one for my 112 slim select.

Got it today in the mail. Perfect fit. Way better than the wide clip. Solution found. Recommend it!

I prefer the wider clip. It's easy to grasp the knife with the Anvil stamp to squeeze with your forefinger and thumb inside pocket lifting the knife. Plus it's a Buck Anvil on the clip and not a Spyderco logo. The Black does hide it better than the stainless clip,

There is no Spyderco logo on the LNW clip. Just FYI.

Spyderco Delica clip is a direct fit, and that specifically goes for two hole aftermarket clips.

I will say, the factory clip is perfectly adequate. The anvil thing is kinda 'Meh', but its not terrible. The factory clip is snug, keeps it in your pocket, etc, so if thats all thats keeping you from getting any of these clipped folders by Buck...well you're missing out! Don't, just get one.

If you want a little more personality or whatever then there are reasonably priced clips in all kinds of shapes and colors.

I have been clipping it (the factory clip) on the outside of my pocket and it stays as well as the long clip on the 486.

Like I said, it works fine.

The new clip is about the same length as the factory clip, it just looks long because of the angle and its a 112. Definitely like the new one better but a lot of it is just prefrence.

I'm glad I read the spyderco clip fits. I mean its a perfect hole to hole fit too! Not just close, but just right.

Personality would be using the factory clip. its unique to Buck. I dig it and it works perfectly. That plain one doesnt look bad either.

I said it was perfectly adequate and it worked fine, I didn't knock it at all, despite a lot of people being very vocal about hating it.

When I mentioned personality I was talking about "making it yours" basically.

A lot of people drive the exact same vehicle, same color, same wheels, same interior. Sometimes its nice to make it yours, how you see it or make it fit you and your interests.

Kinda like your sheaths (which are nice btw). Buck makes a sheath and its unique to Buck, they work great. But sometimes people want something a little different and/or want to make it theirs or more functional to/for them. That's great too, yes? Thats all I was doing. :)

Eta, I probably wouldn't have mentioned it at all besides in passing, unless someone asked, but I noticed several people were interested in changing their clips for whatever reason. And I thought I'd share to help out.
