Since I carry a fixed blade, I don't really want to belt carry a folder...so I passed on the 110. I have a drop point 112 that I rarely carry because it's too big to have loose in my pocket when I'm out and about; but I use it at home.
(While I assume this isn't what the OP meant by "All models considered", I do regularly carry a 501)

While I feel both are quality knives, I favor the 112 for a strange reason--I like the front bolster's shape, as it keeps your hand from sliding forward onto the blade.

That, and I don't wind up sitting on the longer knife!

It has been a long time since I carried either one, but when I did carry them, I preferred the 112 due to it's being lighter and smaller.
Love them both though and I keep a small collection of them both.

I like both and have a few of each so I go through phases. Lately I've been carrying a 112 a lot more. The size is more versatile to me. I wouldn't complain if there was an extra quarter inch on the blade though...

Buck 110 for me,I have a couple 112 but they are too small for me and the blade small too.I Le a hefty knife with weight behind it,and about a 4 inch blade.

By "all models considered", I mean to also include the Pro, Slim Select, and Slim Pro versions.

surprised how many 112 voters there are. wonder if it's due to legal requirements of blade length or more just like smaller blade and/or design etc better?

I prefer 110 everytime. have a couple 112s rarely to never carry them. prefer the 500 if going for smaller blade folder.

I keep a 110 around at all times in my vehicle and have a 110 slim pro in my coat pocket. Then there’s times when I carry a 112 and probably will more so since getting the BOTM 112 which I am growing very fond of. They are both excellent knives but for all around versatility the 110 is hard to beat when you need a bit more blade. All that said my main edc at work is a vantage pro for probably 80% of the tasks with the 110 taking the rest of the load.

110.
I know it really isn't, but the 112 feels "cramped" to me.

Yes to both of these posts.

Aluminum 110 in my right rear pocket every day. If I need a front pocket carry, the 500. And yes, the 500 is what showed me that the 112 is (for me) very cramped.

Back in 2007 I decided to collect 112's..My Brother collects 110's..so for over a dozen years I used them more than any other Buck. But recently I have developed neuropathy and carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand and a 110 LT works better. Just a little.

sorry to hear that. hoping the best for ya.

so what you're basically saying is your brother Dave was right the whole time.:p:D:D

I AM a 112 fan....I used to say a 112 would do any cutting job just as good as a 110..3/4" of blade won't matter THAT much.. but hand size is a factor. A comparison might be the 303 vs 301 too.
For every cutting task bigger is not always better. David was not right!
The VA wants to cut and clean out the nerve channel but I'm hesitant to do it since I have a loss of use of my left arm. If they screw up I'm in a really bad way. I'll probably try therapy and maybe a injection first. Since the 90's I've had to use a cane and since I put a lot of weight on one the last 5 years I've put a lot of stress on it.

I prefer the 110.
But I carry a 112 on my belt everyday at work, and use/abuse that knife.
I feel lost without it..... So in fairness I vote 112.

Having both I think I would EDC the 112 but I live in a city where if I were to pull either out of my pocket there would be shrieks followed by fainting and SWAT members would crash through the windows turning me into red swiss cheese.
