Now that Ka-Bar has given us the option of the 1281(D2) without serrations,which I feel is a good thing.
Do Ka-Bar see this happening with the 1271 as well any time soon?
All it would take is to bypass the serration grinding station,wouldnt it?
I read somewhere that the serrations on the 1271 were requested for military purposes.
Even so,it would be great to have the choice.
