I noticed that we had over 10K posts. However we were already at 11K when I noticed it. Seemed like a good reason to celebrate with a contest. So I think a 12K post contest is in order. Recent study indicated that "luck" is the preferred method of choice.

12K posts contest "rules".

Each contestant needs to post the answer to the question below. Each post will be cut out and put into the "hat". Only one post per name will be put into the hat so it doesn't pay to post more than once.

Contest question: What model listed below do you think should be the prize for the contest winner?

1. Tim Wenger (large) Clipit
2. Bob Lum Tanto Clipit
3. Bob "T" Starmate Clipit
4. Tim Zowada Clipit
5. Eduard Bradichansky Shabaria
6. Military
7. SpydeRench
8. Black Matriarch
9. Eduard Bradichansky SpyderCard

Contest is officially ended 3 OCT 99 (Sunday night) at midnight.

Good luck.

Bob Lum Tanto would be a good choice. It would go well with my Starmate. Good idea for a contest Sal.

A Black Matriarch would work well for me.

Thanks Sal

Considering how difficult they are going to be to get this year, the SpydeRench would be my first choice. I would love to take it in to work and show it to all the airplane maint workers on the shop floor. We could probably sell several down there.

Very generous contest Sal!

Sal,

I'll have to go with the Starmate although the Military was oh so close. Reason? I have S/N 400 which is a combo edge. Would love to have a plain too

!!!

PS Wondering if Bob T has had a chance to scope out Drew's modifications. I'm inclined to think that they make a great knife even better although I admit to not having seen the mods up close and personal to have a hands on feel. They just look "right"!

What? Another knife? Don't you have enough of those things already?
How many does one person need?
And just what are you going to do with this one that you can't do with the others?
What is the purpose of all these knives anyhow??

Starmate...Plain edge of course!!!
