Could we get a spine shot that shows the liners?

Also, could you educate me on 14260 steel? The closest I can find is 5160 spring steel, per zknives charts. That's a very interesting design.

csn 14 260, or 54SiCr4 is equivalent steel to 5160. it´s commonly used spring steel in Europe. for heavy duty car and truck springs. knifemakers like it for long blades, campers, choppers or axes. swordmakers use it a lot here.

Thanks for the comment. I'm familiar with 5160 in choppers and HI kuhkris but have never really used it in a smaller knife, but just picked up a 5160 buck 119 for general hunting use. I've recently become a big fan of 52100 or AEB-L for stainless.

That slight forward lean just kind of reminds me of my BK4 and millie (to some extend) that makes it a nice extension from the arm for medium-heavier uses. I like a little bit of arc in the spine of the knife if it's going to do a lot of using instead of just carrying.

I need to make some room in my collection, for my sake I hope this sticks around but for the OP's sake hope this sells. Nice looking piece at a nice price.
