First post but read here a lot. Roaming a pawn shop earlier and picked up this old timer SharpFinger 152. I have a newer one made in China but this one says USA and the sheath is different by the way it snaps under the handle instead of across it.
Can someone date this?? I gave $15 for it.

Per Codger's own posts, your sheath dates the knife from about 1975-'83, the second of four versions they used.
 
I fixed your thread title for you. Yes, assuming the sheath and knife have been lifelong pals, black mamba's date range is correct. You got a good deal on a good knife! Enjoy!
