I don't know what kind of wood this is. The customer shipped it to me. It was nice to work with, and I like the look of it very much. If anyone can tell me what it is, I'd be greatful.

Not sure, but the raw blank (at least in the color tones) looks a lot like a highly figured American walnut, but it's not showing much in the way of pores, hmmm. The smell would tell you a lot while sanding, but with my nose being on the disability list, I'm not so sure...
 
I think it looks like Redwood Burl....but I'm no expert by any means. :)
