My oh my! Where on earth did you find that. I must have one...
I was so lucky to snag it up off eBay. I watched it for about a week till I could not withstand the urge to not buy it any longer lol. I am so so glad I got it, and I surprisingly got it at a fair price.

Between the BRG and ZDP189 this one is definitely one of my favorites.

I've often wondered about the corrosion resistance of ZDP so today I decided to try something. I stuck the blade in a orange and let it sit for about 30 minutes, then puled it out and let it sit with the blade totally covered with orange juice for about 6 or 7 hours. No wiping, no cleaning, just 100% pure OJ on the blade.

Cleaned it off thoroughly and not a bit of corrosion anywhere. It did get a couple of grey haze spots about half the size of a Dime in a couple of different spots on the blade but none of the nasty brown stuff anywhere. Color me impressed! I was expecting some corrosion resistance but not this good.

Of course I realize if I left in soaking in dried OJ or went and tossed it in the salty ocean for 2 or 3 weeks, well, the results would most likely be totally different. ZDP is not H1:D

I've always thought ZDP was great blade steel, but now knowing its got excellent CR makes its even better.
