EDIT: 10/3/20 I do have 2 more of these ready to go that are not pictured if anyone else is interested in one.
I have 2 paring knives for sale made from 26C3 carbon steel.
These knives are made from .040 stock and heat treated targeting 63-64 RC.
The handles are done in leopard wood scales.
slight convex grind to 0 before putting a fine secondary bevel on the edge.
The handles are contoured for a comfortable fit.
OAL: 7.25"
Blade: 3.25"
Width: .75:
Spine: less than .040 after grinding flats. (usually between .030 - .035
Due to how thin these are sometimes a slight pattern can be visible from heat treating
which I don't always get out while sanding for fear of making them too thin.
I know 63-64 RC would usually be quite brittle but 26C3 is relatively tough even at
high hardness.
I'm asking $55 each which includes shipping to the US.
Payment can be sent from PayPal to kirbys65@hotmail.com
I can also take checks but will wait to clear before shipping.
