These two tomahawks were a test of a modification of the original Rogers' Rangers Spike Tomahawk by American Tomahawk Company. One is stamped "PROTOTYPE", the other "ATC". They were featured in the August, 2001 edition of Knives Illustrated and then the design was never produced again.
The set includes TWO tomahawks. The prototype has a curly maple handle and should be displayed. The matching hawk has a straight-grain hickory handle and can be used, thrown, carried, etc. Both come with leather blade covers and while normal warranty applies these are two one-of-a- kind hawks.
BOTH SOLD - includes USPS-Priority Mail shipping with delivery confirmation and insurance.
