got the 20" kobra today. thanks uncle bill. i think that this is my new favorite blade. razor edge. popping hairs. great balance. feels like it's not even there when i hold it. great to swing. love the knife. thanks again uncle. by the way, i love this knife.


p.s. did i mention i like this knife?
 
I'm glad to see it made the journey and reached the final destination OK. I had a hell of a problem trying to get a khukuri to you before and I was hoping with the new address we wouldn't run into the same difficulty. I'm relieved.

Based on the pictures, I have the twin/mate to your knife. At present it holds the primary spot in my heart, too. I have a 21" GS on the way, though, so we'll see how it stacks up against another long/lean blade style.

i have also a chiruwa ang khola and a 25" bura kobra. i know the 20" kobra will never be able to chop like my two bigger pieces, but my 20" kobra reminds me of a pitbull i used to have. small, scrappy, full of spirit, and eager to bite. very hard.
