A buddy showed me pictures of a knife he is interested in buying.
The model name underneath the Emerson logo was DOG-7. The production year was 2003.
It was a bulky fixed clip point blade (polished, no dlc coating) knife with a lengthy hole in the blade similar to the one the ZT0223. The handle had big metal bolsters and pinned red wooden scales (might also be red micarta).
I am no Emerson expert and know next to nothing about Emerson fixed blades but I felt like it was fake.
I know I didn't provide a lot of info but maybe it is enough for someone to id the knife if it is real. IMO it is odd that I found right about nothing about the knife when googling it. So I really think it is fake.
