Goodness that is gorgeous! Can you provide a close-up of the base of the blade? I've never seen one with two different patterns on it before.
 
I'm glad your pleased! I really love working with carbon Damascus. Just remember to keep that blade nice and oiled and she will last you several lifetimes. I sprayed it down with Aegis Solution's HDCi (Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor) before shipping so it should be good for a while depending on how humid your knife collection storage area is.
