2021 GEC #15 Urban Jack Photo Thread

Well, what came to mind is those dog rescue volunteers who have to remove big round ticks with a comb. Ugh... never mind. But the theme is fairly popular. I own one balisong with a brass comb blade.

It fits perfectly in my pocket slip also.

Nice slip!! My micarta is in a CK slip, but I might have to change it up :)

Sorry, I couldn't follow the conversations. What does "BRR tool" mean?

Addendum: Found it. Beard Refuse Removal. Wouldn't have guessed.

Just came across another great use for the comb. My kid came to me with a battery powered toy car, after putting in new batteries it still wasn’t working very well. A quick look showed the problem was dog fur wound around the axel and the wheels don’t just pull off to clean it out. Pulled out the comb which fits in the very small gap perfectly to grab and remove most of the fur!

One last set of pictures before this one is sent out. A friend from a past GEC Rendezvous really likes these and wanted to complete the set of three. I noticed the copper medallion has aged like a copper penny.

Bone color and jigging is fantastic on that SFA, that's for sure.
