Heya Spyderknuts! Just wanted to spread the joy of my reborn sharpmaker. I took Sal's advice from the video and scrubbed em' down with the scotch brite and a scouring powder... now they look like new! I am impressed - I have sharpened dozens of knives of dubious steel quality, and I thought I'd never get all that gunk off. It was easy.
Also, I'm expecting a Starmate in the mail tommorrow and eagerly anticipate joining your ranks.
