21 Blade Stop Pin Sleeve Change?

I have two Sebenza 21s, one was made in 2014, the other 2015. I cleaned them both last week and noticed that the earlier knife's stop pin sleeve has two grooves in it, and the newest one was smooth. I did a search and read something about the grooves having to do with keeping lint from interfering with the knife's operation. I checked a third Sebenza, a friend's made in 2015, and it also has a smooth blade stop pin sleeve.

Do all Sebenza 21s now come with smooth blade stop pin sleeves?

Yes I have noticed that also
 
The smooth sleeve actually was first then they started using the grooved ones.

Im not sure, maybe they are using spare parts.
 
My July Sebenza 21 came with a smooth pin.
I prefer the look of the grooved pin but it's no biggie.
 
I've got 3 sebenzas manufactured this 2015 and they all have the plain stop pin. Then I have 4 older ones (2009 to 2013), 2 with grooved and other 2 having plain pins.

I prefer the look of the grooved pin but I don't like seeing lint collecting on it.. lol
 
2012 on my pocket is grooved. Not sure about the 2013 at home, but 95% certain it's grooved.
