212 Ranger?

Anybody know anything about this knife or is it something new? Fixed blade with black phenolic handle 420HC blade 3 5/8” blade.Copper and Clad says it’s a first production run. Had good luck with them before on orders so of course I had to order one because ...well I don’t have one yet. $74.99 w/ free shipping.
 
It’s a nice knife. I think you will like it a lot. The phenolic one is the “regular” version. “Regular” is in quotes because it is still a limited run from C&C. But is in the regular configuration.

There are others with fancier handles and w2 steel.

I'd like one, even in 420HC, although better steel would be preferable. Chuck, get off your butt and put this one into production.
 
Buck is probably committed to C&C for a time period after they order a batch.

Waiting to see what happens after the first 100 are gone.

C&C will order more, the model will fall into oblivion, or become a regular production item. Time will tell.
 
I thought SK Blades had announced a run in a special steel for this spring - anyone know what’s going on with that particular Buck 212? OH
