Hello everybody!
Another chef knife is completed! On this one the hamon came out a little more active and did a different finish on it. The result was a more white hamon which I love personally!
Steel: 26c3
Handle: Black micarta bolsters and koa.
Dimensions:
Overall lenght: 33 cm - 12.99''
Blade lenght: 18 cm - 7.08''
Blade widght: 4 cm - 1.61''
Blade thickness: 3 mm - 0.118''
Handle lenght: 12.5 cm - 4.92''
The blade is differentially heat treated. Handrubbed and etched to reveal the hamon. For anyone wondering, the tang goes all the way through and the last inch is threaded. The pommel was threaded and then pinned, it's not going anywhere. The choil and the spine are rounded.
