Here's my second one. I took the advice and polished it out as good as I could then acid etched it. The specs are-
S110v (alpha knife supply)
63-64 hrc (from peters)
.186 stock
.02 bte
Copper shred carbon fiber(tru-grit)

What y'all think? I would've preferred to have 1/8" stock but that's all alpha had at the time and just got a good grinder.

I also didn't drill out the holes big enough before ht and the Corby bolts wouldn't fit. Any ideas on how to fix that?

I haven't thought of that. I'll give it a try. If that doesn't work I may just order smaller ones.
Thanks for the compliment

quick question. If you don't have corby bolts or any pins i can see, how are the scales currently attached?

Get a carbide chainsaw sharpening bit from the hardware store for a dremmel tool. I use them for choils and to open up holes tang holes in cpm154 at 61-62.

Fist time I've heard that. I'll give it a try. I was going to get masonry bits but I heard you have to keep sharpening them.

Gorilla glue epoxy. It kinda sucks honestly. It seems like it's not drying very well. I've used loctite before and need to get some more.

I've redrilled quite a few holes in hardened steel with masonry bits. It's a hassle sharpening them the first time because you're changing the angle to something that will cut steel. But once it's sharpened, it's minor touch up every few holes.

BTW, I love your blade shape and the grind looks great. Not a big fan of the pinky hole, just looks like a great way to break a finger.
