2nd hidden tang first San Mai

Just finished this one today, first San Mai 2nd hidden tang. 1084 and 15n20, stag and quarter mokume accents. 8 1/4” OAL 4” BL. Threaded and Gflex epoxy. Learned a couple things and realize how much more I need to learn about fitting. A couple things also bug me about it but I’m mostly pleased with the results.

Which is the core steel ?

Thanks, it’s frustrating at times-especially when it comes to finish work, where I seem to struggle the most.

Core is 15n20 sides are 1084, I’m working on another that will be reversed.
