Happy Sunday sharp fans! Got a new version of my Rambler model to put before you all...My first Scandi Grind!!!
Same basic dims as the others:
D2 at 61-62 HRC; 3.5" edge (3-7/8" tip to guard) x 0.95" tall x 0.15" at the spine, with a robust stick tang.
Forced patina on upper flats w/1200 satin on primary bevels.
Handle is mystery wood that I got from the neighborhood (probably 6+ years ago) when they came to remove some overgrowth.
Not stabilized, but dried for years prior to using here. Torched at around the 1200 grit mark, then sanded up to 2500 with multiple soaks in Tung oil during finishing process. Front Guard and pin are my handmade denim/burlap.
Handle profile is not contoured, but shaped like an inverted, fat teardrop that is about 0.95" at the shoulder and long enough for supersized hands.
Nearly 9" OAL, and weighs 5.2 oz.

Handmade Leather sheath with fairly deep, molded pocket. Right hand carry.
I hope you like it...
