I need to buy some 3 volt Lithium batteries for my Surefire 9P flashlight. Which is "the BEST" battery (in the "123" series)...Duracell or Eveready?

The very best 123A batteries are the SF123A batteries made by SureFire. They are available at Arizonagunrunners.com and lagger-pro.com among other places. SureFire contracted to have these batteries made especially for their lights. They are NOT made by Duracell or Energizer or any other mainstream battery manufacturer. They are different and they are the best:).

I want to buy locally, rather than over the 'net. I can't find any Surefire batteries locally, so that's why I posed the Duracell vs Eveready question...:).

Buy whatever ones you can find the cheapest...There is not a big difference in brands, and only three companies make 123-cells: Sanyo, Duracell and Ray-o-vac...and all perfrom well, though the listed capacities for each of them is slightly different, 1300MAH for the Sanyos and 1400MAH for the Duracells and Rayovacs...

hmmm? I have some 123's made by Everready (Energizer 123) - they work fine. I think there are quite a few 123s out there (i've tried the Sanyo model, didn't last as long as duracells or the energizers i'm using now)

I use the duracell in my N.V.S. It has been in for two years and works fine I probally only have about 20 hours of use on it though. I dont think the proformance will differ much. Heck it's laocally avaliable and they dont cost much.
