Long time no see everyone.

Over the past few weeks, ive been slowly but surely aquiring the materials for a forge, anvil, and related things. As for the forge, everythings good. Got a Tim Lively esque tub forge drying out in the shed. The anvil on the other hand is giving me a lot of trouble. Checked out local flea markets and scrapyards, with no luck. So, ive settled on getting a block of 4140 to use. Plenty of people sell it, but not in the dimensions i want. Im looking for about a 5x5x12 block. Can someone recommend where i can get some? Preferably somewhere that sells it prehardened.
Thanks in advance
John

You might want to ask James Helm (Storm Crow) who posts on here quite a bit. He makes a lot of hawks from 4140 sheet and the price that he told me he was paying was very attractive. He may have a line on some bigger stock.
