The fine print:
● All prices are for PayPal G&S with the knife shipped first class to CONUS destinations.
● If you are paying from an overseas PayPal account (but want to ship to CONUS), please add 2.5%, since PayPal charges extra.
● Generally, the first person to unconditionally claim a knife publicly and then promptly follow up with a PM and payment gets the knife, though I reserve the right to sell to whom I please. “I will take it, pending question answered” is not unconditionally.
● Thank you (gmartin12 and others), but no trades at this time.
● Please do not post offers within the thread; this is not a Saudi Arabian bazaar. If you have an offer, please PM me or post your email address, and I will get in touch with you.

The big print:
I keep buying knives, even though I have plenty, so some of the older ones that don’t get used have to go. Here are the knives for sale:

Spyderco D’Allara. $139 LNIB. I would say that this is BNIB except for the fact that the box is not in perfect condition (after years of storage), and the information leaflet is gone. I bought this from another forum member because I wanted a serrated knife, but then I realized that the D’Allara is a collector’s item and that I could get a regular ol’ serrated knife for less money.

Spyderco Shaman. SOLD. Used but in good shape. I purchased this new (not from a forum member) and have used it in rotation and sharpened it. Within the Spyderco line, it turns out I prefer the PM2 and Manix 2, though the combination of a big, beefy handle and a comp lock make this knife a serious contender. Somehow the blade got scratched along the way, even though it’s stonewashed; there’s a line perpendicular to the cutting surface on each side of the blade, as shown in the pictures. That’s the “only” defect I can see. (I crack up when people on here list defects and then say “other than the scratches and the dents, it’s mint.”) I made the price reflect the fact that it has those scratches. If the knife doesn’t sell at a reasonable price, I may put the blade in my rock tumbler for a few minutes to get rid of the lines, and then re-post it (noting the use of the rock tumbler).

Spyderco Military in CTS-204P. SOLD. (Couldn't get name to link with album. See pictures at https://imgur.com/a/yc8SnLX ) Excellent condition. Got this from another forum member who got it from another forum member. The guy I got it from wasn’t sure if he bought it new or not. He didn’t use it, and I haven’t used it and it looks perfect to me, so let’s just say that it’s in excellent condition. This knife is really too big for me. I was thinking of keeping it as a show piece of great steel in a larger knife, but I can’t afford to hold on to knives that I’m not using, so on it goes in the great circle of knife.

Spyderco Advocate. SOLD. BNIB. I purchased this from another forum member who advertised it as BNIB. Already owning an Advocate, I was buying a second just to have as a safe queen, but I can’t afford to have backup safe queens since I keep buying knives. I inspected the blade closely and it looks perfectly new, with a symmetric bevel. One slightly odd thing I found — which proved impossible to show in pictures, because you really have to know what you’re looking for — is that the grind angle is steeper than what typically comes out of the factory. I would estimate it to be less than 15 degrees per side, though I’m no expert.

When I bought the knife, I asked the guy if this was one of the new Advocates with the upgraded bearing system, and he said that he didn’t know but that he’d bought it from a retailer in the last two months (from when I asked), which would have made it at that time a very strong contender for being one of the newer Advocates, since this was months after the uproar on the old Advocates.

Spyderco Civilian. $115. Excellent condition and very, very sharp. I used to carry this around as a self defense knife, but now I don’t, since I’m older and I realize I’m not Jason Bourne. Note that I put two zip ties on it to turn it into a wave-enabled knife. You can cut off the zip ties if you don’t like them there, obviously.

Manix 2 in S110V. SOLD. Lightly used Manix 2 in S110V in excellent condition. I have a Manix 2 in M4, a Manix 2 Lock Back, and just purchased a Manix 2 in 4V, so one has got to go. (The neighbors are starting to talk about the crazy guy with so many Manixes.) This Manix 2 by the way, for whatever reason is a scary free-dropper; I’m always worried that it’s going to swoop down and guillotine me, so if you like free dropping knives, this is the bad girl you’ve been waiting for.

Spyderco Vrango. SOLD. I bought this NIB from another forum member and have not used it, but I’ll classify it as LNIB because the box is kind of beaten up and because the information leaflet is missing. This knife is too small for me but is a beautiful example of Taichung crafstmanship, as you can see from the pictures.
