84mm Victorinox scales on a 85mm Wenger knife? Well can it be done or is the difference to great? I do not have a 85mm knife to compare with 84mm.

This question is because of the new Delemont collection from Victorinox all having the terrible looking EVO grips and I want slick sides.

Won't work, the rivet holes are in different locations. Also, one (Vic 84mm) clips on top
of the liners, while the Wenger 85mm go over the sides of the liners. I also really
dislike the Evo grips and have been trying to find some Wenger flat scales for a
year or so with no luck :-(

This was my thought as well. I didn´t know about riveting on the Wengers, but it was a almost in my mind that the rivets couldn´t (eventually) fix to the drills on the Vic scales.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge, fellows :)
