I have a lot of Wilson 47Ds, so that's what I use, although I wouldn't buy more of them at this point. A friend uses standard CMC Powermags with good results. That said, there may be better options depending on your budget and level of obsessiveness.
Wilson has a new eight round ETM that is supposed to exceed their 47 series http://www.wilsoncombat.com/index_new.htm.
Another option is to get mags from Tripp Research http://www.trippresearch.com/CVS/products/1911/1911.html
A third option that at least one top name smith says is the way to go is to forget eight round mags entirely and use CMC Powermag bodies with Tripp Super 7 springs and followers. If I were to go this route, I would use the mags until the factory springs wear out (assuming they worked well in my pistol), then replace them with the Tripp springs.

I have the TLE/RLII and, while I've never had a misfeed with the stock Kimber mag, all my purchased mags are Wilson Combat. One issue with them is they rattle when loaded.
I read an article that recommends you go with only 7-round or 8-round mags so you don't get confused when seating the magazine. Each takes a different amount of pressure to seat it, especially with the slide closed.

+1 for the Wilson's.
haven't even tried any of the others.
never saw a reason to.
had a carpet cleaner sit a(very heavy) dresser on one that crushed it in half.
Wilson,replaced no questions,asked.that was about 10 years ago.
