?

Hope to get a photo up soon of a knife I got today- it's a nice one!

Right now I am grinding, but also having birthings

4 new goats so far!

I've been a bit sick, so things are rough right now in terms of speed of finishing projects. Hopefully I can get through this bout of lung crap and back to full steam work shortly

I did not know you were sick, I hope you are well soon, and congrats on the goats!! Do you use them for milk, or making cheese?

What kind of goats?

My first goats are due 3/24. Hoping for a doe since the dam I have AI'd to NORTH COAST JAISON COLLIN!

Check out this cheese press I just made:

Getting there. I'm finally on a prednisone course and it is helping out a lot.

Boers, sorta. One nigerian. On pygmy buck who is sausage next week. Working on a new kinder line.

We are milking one- unfortunately not the nigerian (she adopted the castoffs of the one we are milking and is feeding 4)

I'm milking 3 right now. But they have been fresh since April 2011 and aren't bred for 2012 freshening so I'll just milk them thru.

I have 4 bred one due 3/24 and the other 3 around 4/12.

With the 3 I'm milking I'm still getting enough to make a lot of cheese.

We'r eonly milking the one right now, but might add another as the kids get to weaning

We are just getting started....

5 nubians. 3 does, 2 bucks. They came from a commercial dairy, so we are bottle feeding 3 times a day. Hoping to get an older goat to milk to help out with this...

Hollowdweller I would like to talk to you sometime about that cheese press!
