91mm vs 93mm wood processsing ...surprising outcome

I, too, recently had a Vic splurge. I’m not yet ready to confess.

Well :poop:.
I got home from work today and my package was there!:)
Opened it up - only the Recruit was in it.:(
Checked the shipping and both should have been in the same package. No damage to the box. o_O
Contacted the seller. They refunded me for the missing Spartan.

The Spartan was an impulse buy due to the low price anyway. I'll give it a few days and if the urge to get another is still there, I'll order something else.

Truthfully, the money is better spent on a Leatherman Bit Kit for my Wave.

I have a Japanese SAK clone that has a ZDP-189 main blade. I am trying to figure out how to move the blade to a Ti handled SAK. I wish Vic offered a premium blade option.8E486BD2-402C-4060-8886-5238BB95DA28.jpeg

The times, my how they have changed.

As a boy in the mid 1960s, one year for Christmas, my parents gave me a Made in Japan SAK clone. It was total garbage. (As were most thing Made in Japan in those days.) I think the cutting blades on that knife would dull if you looked at them cross eyed. They certainly would not hold an edge.

O.B.
