940 with G10 scales question

Hello,

I just picked up the BladeHQ exclusive 940 with lime green g10 scales. Great knife overall. However my only issue is how easily it comes out of my pocket when using the Benchmade deep carry clip (same issue with the standard clip). The scales are somewhat slick which doesn’t create any retention when clipped to my pocket. Anyone else bothered by this or have a solution? Thanks!

Bend the pocket clip to adjust to desired retention.. easy fix! I've had to do this on.. well pretty much every Benchmade I own, now that I'm thinking on it..

Lately I've been carrying my G10 REI exclusive 940 with a deep carry clip, and I haven't had any issue like this. It definitely sounds like your clip is a little loose. I've always found that the replacement clips from Benchmade come pretty loose. The best way to tighten it up is to flip the clip around so it sticks off the end of the knife, lay it flat on a hard surface, and use the leverage f the knife handle to bend the clip a little more. You probably won't have to tighten it s much as you think.
