I don't like the STR clips and the clips on ebay are being sold for $40. I know an Adamas Benchmade clip will fit with slight modification. But I heard somewhere a while back that an older Spyderco clip would also fit it with a little modification to it. Does anyone know what Spyderco clip I could use on the PM2 to make it a deep carry knife.

Also, is Spyderco good about selling pocket clips to you if you call them? I thought I heard somewhere that their customer service wasn't very good. ???

I'm not sure what other clip may come close to fitting, but Spyderco has good customer service and will gladly sell you clips.
I've ordered clips from them a couple of times and got them very quick.

From past experience and what I've read from the Spyderco folks is that customer service is good but very busy. Give a call and see for yourself.

Lol. Ok. I understood the first time it was said. Customer service is good. Still doesn't help unless I can find out what deep carry spyderco pocket clip can fit the paramilitary 2 with a little modification.

Note the time stamps on the posts. Sometimes we slow typers don't get in fast enough and there's some advice overlap. Either way it reinforces some sound advice.

Not only that, you posted negative things about their customer service without having any first hand experience yourself. Many people come in and read that, and some feel the need to correct you.

The only other deep carry clips I know that fit the para2 is the one sold by the big knife making supply company (not sure if I can post their name). A quick search should find them. Also they're dirt cheap at like 1-4$.

I said I thought I heard their custo service was bad and that it would mean its hard to get a pocket clip from them. I got one reply to that saying that it wouldnt be hard to get one from them. Thats all I obviously needed.

Too bad I still dont know what pocket clip to get. I would presume that ALMOST any deep carry clip from them would work but idk. ... as i said before.

Instead of changing the pocket clip, I found that my para2 carries just fine and very discreetly in a Desantis Mag-Packer® for a Glock 26 magazine (part # M38BJJJZ0

This way nothing shows outside the pocket and there is no knife clip sticking out to knick the furniture or scratch the paint.

same :D

I've tried a couple of mods including using the wire clip from a Techno, heating and folding over the stock clip and I've used the STR and some of the $7 ti clips from a knife maker supply. I have to say that the STR is probably my favorite, it's a little cleaner and more elegant than the other options. The $7 deep carry ti clip is fine but was a little clunky and I ended up working it over with a dremel to get it to suit my tastes better. The wire clip is my favorite style of clip but you have to be really careful to not strip the screws when you do a friction fit like I did. I did an ok job on bending the stock clip over but it made me really appreciate what STR does with his clips.
