Its about dang time!

I know its been out, I've had mine for a month about and got a 110 Pro in S30V about the same time.

The 110 LT is a real sized buck knife blade in a lighter package. Very handy, I'm going to have to get a few more.

Side Note: Buck 112 LT would also be great. Buck 110/112 are my default serious folders. I admit I also get Gator blades for the same reason of one the safest lock backs there are. Both have their places.

My Buck 110 Pro is in my general belt one now. Pocket is my 110 LT that see's more use.

It’s a great knife. I enjoy the light weight. I love all my 110’s, and the LT is no exception to that.

The 112LT should be coming out here pretty soon..

Its the 420 HC I like for general wilderhood trips as it can be easily sharpened. The pokie Clip blade is good for general use cutting and ligament cutting. I do like my 110 Pro, its going to also go along with the Lite for big critter killing season because they are good and rust proof enough for blood and snow doing stuff.

And from recent experience....EASIER TO CLEAN than a gator blade.

I put a Buck 110 in the sheath pouches for my fixed blades as the bushy knife. But the 110 LT is my all day carry knife. Its under 4" so I can carry it in my state.

I plan on picking one up this weekend. I had just been waiting for one in od green or hunter orange. Think I'll go ahead and pick up the black one and then when other colors come out or I get a smoke jumper, I can just pass the black one on to my son.

I have the LT and Smoke Jumper and have the Black drop point on the way from C&C right now. I have only used the Smoke Jumper so far and love it. I am going to order the Blue drop point also when it become available. Very affordable knives.

Does anyone have a suggestion on a "DIY" to fix both horizontal and vertical blade play on this one? It's not terrible, but it's definitely there. Thanks!

I plead ignorance on the smoke jumper. But I wanted a nice 420 HC buck blade to be able to sharpen about any where with a lot of use. But really, I'm sure a lot of you know HOW LONG it takes to get Buck 110 dull in 420 HC before it needs sharpening! But a 154 CM Smoke Jumper needs for next knife budget opening up....

I snatched the 110 Pro because I could at the time and glad I did!

As for "Play" happening on a nylon handle is some thing I was aware that can happen, but then even with "Play" its still a full solid lock back with a Buck Blade.

I have had success removing side to side play on a few Bucklites by peening the pivot pin. Put a 7/32 inch pin punch in a vise and set the pivot on it. Use a second punch and tap from the top slowly until the play is gone - you'll need a third hand to accomplish this. It will leave the head of the pin a little rough, but the knife will feel much tighter. I think the vertical play on both of my the LTs is caused by incorrect tolerances between the blade tang and lockbar end.

Because I've been seeing so many posts about the 110LT, what is the weight difference between a standard 110 and the 110LT? I have a standard and like it but lightweight is something it eludes very well. Someone posted up some amazingly good looking ones (it was orange... I like orange) so I think I may need to get one for a closer look of what the hubbub is about.
