Just got this knife, first impressions are "not bad for 100 bucks". I'm lacking in scandi ground knives right now, and figured I'd pick up one. Here is what the website says about it.
The "Leuku 180" has a blade 7" (182 mm) long, 1 1/16" wide and .129" thick. The handle Again the 5" handle is sized for a larger hand. There are brass plates at both ends of handle, and the squared end of the tang is visable at the pommel plate. This would be a serious tool for butchering, cutting brush, etc. The sheath has a belt loop which will take belts up to 2 1/2" wide. $95 Out of Stock
Haven't really had a chance to use it and won't until the spring, but from my initial handling, it feels well built, and the edge was sharp by most standards. It fills the hand quite well too, something I never enjoyed on traditional moras.
The sheath it came with, was also high quality. The knife has some marks in the HT scale etc.. so finish is not "perfect", but I wasn't expecting it to be.
Anyone have any other Ahti blades?
Here's a size comparison.
