    I meant to chime in.

    I got one of the micarta versions. It's a very well made knife and aesthetically interesting. But after having it a week or two, I was saying to myself "Why did you buy this?". So an impulse buy for me I guess. I should have known better, since except for collabs, all of Tashi's knives have seemed to modern to me.

    I might own 2 of these if Tashi had not given into form over function on the pocket clip. Fortunately I pictured where that point on the clip was going to wind up in the middle of my palm and painfully gave up on this model. He's certainly not the only designer guilty of this but please think of the end user more.

    As much as I love Reate, this design simply looks like a broad head spear stuck onto a knife handle.
