a new site on African weapons

Thank you very much for the link. I have found this site to be very interesting. Some very wicked looking weapons that I have never seen before.
 
Good stuff

Although I think the "KREISH CEREMONIAL THROWING BLADES" are being misclassified. Although they look similar to the "MABO THROWING BLADE", note that they have Ivory handles instead of a simple leather or cord wrap. No one would throw a fancy hilted wheapon that could be easily damaged (Although some one on the forums did throw therir khuk!?!?!).

Recent work in blade typology of African weapons suggests that certain ones were thrown, and others that looked similar were not thrown. The hilt gives it away almost every time.
