I'm in a bit of a bind here. I recently ordered a pair of Oakley Assault boots which are excellent from what I here. However, the lack of eyelets bothers me and I'd like to add some. I have not recieved the boots as of yet, however I've provided a picture of them at the bottom for reference. I do have an old pair of Altama ICB's that have speed laces in them but I doubt I'd be able to remove then install them on theses. Thus, I'd like to know if anyone knows where I could purchase aftermarket eyelets or has an idea.
Thanks for the help:thumbup:

There are still a few shoe repair shops around to do the job and make it look first class...

You can get larger grommets in just about any hardware store. Smaller "eyelets" you can get from Tandy Leather, or in just about any sewing type store. Be advised tho, most of those are pretty short, only designed to fit thru a couple of pieces of cloth. Getting them thru leather or fabric, 'specially if you are talking near the top of a boot with a padded collar, will be tough. The sewing store eyelets are usually in a pack of various colors...
