So, my question is: how do I make a link using just one word? For example: If you click this LINK it will take you to the Exchange.

I remember a thread where Rev explained this and I did my due diligence and searched for the thread, but I just can't seem to find it.

Thanks in advance!

Easiest way is to type the word first, highlight it, then click the "link" button. When you type/paste the link in the box and and click "OK" it'll use the highlighted word for the link instead of the URL.

Alternatively, you can just delete everything between the "URL" tags and replace with what you want after inserting it.

Click reply on this post to see an example.

Thanks guys!

Let's give it a TRY

ETA - That was too easy. I can't believe that I wasn't able to figure it out on my own. Thanks for the help!

Thanks, kiah and rob!

While we're at it, how do I post a YouTube video so it doesn't come up as a link?

Copy the URL from the address bar on the YouTube page, click the "Insert Video" button (looks like a film strip, next to "Insert Image"), paste the URL in the box and click "OK".

Don't use the "youtu.be" URL under the video. Won't work on this site.

Darn it. What the what.

Doesn't seem to work with the "mobile" URL. See where it says "https://m.youtube.com/~"? Just change the "m" to "www" so it's "https://www.youtube.com/~" and it should work.

And bingo was his name-o!

Thanks, fellas! That'd been vexing me for a while now.
