Adhesive recommendation for a bat end-cap

I play in a slow-pitch league and my team recently lost our best bat due to the end cap coming unglued and popping off. There is no warranty on the bat so we are pretty much on our own to come up with a solution. We've tried several times to glue it back in, but each time it blows back off after 10 or 15 hits. I thought the bf community might have some useful advice on possible solutions.

Here is a list of what we have tried so far:
2-ton epoxy
Some kind of epoxy with supposedly a 5000 psi strength
Gorilla glue
and a flexible super glue from Home Depot

We considered drilling some holes in the end of the bat and using rivets or screws to secure the cap but the bat is full composite not aluminum so we are unsure as to how well that would work out.

This is a pickle. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Did you try JB weld or PC7,I know you tried epoxys but all epoxys are not created equal.I prefer PC7 and it doesn't go on as runny,it's easier to keep in place.I've used it to seal gas tanks, water jackets in V8 engine blocks, small engine aluminum engine blocks,I can't think of anything that I've repaired that failed after I used it.

PC7 PC 11 and JBweld when properly mixed will pretty much do for household repairs. There are other GOOD epoxies but they are for fiberglass more than structural.

Thanks for the replies. I will try your suggestions. So far the best result we've gotten is from just taping the crap out of the end to secure the cap, but, as you might imagine, that didn't go over to well in games.

Devcon 4 ton epoxy. Clean the areas with cellulose thinners beforehand.

Gripfill, an industrial adhesive for affixing wooden battens onto walls.

technically that is bat alteration and will make the bat illegal if it is noticeable, I would be careful so the ump leaves it alone. I have used Devcon plastic welder with good success, just got to prep it properly, rough it up and clean it.
