Hey guys how are yah

I'm just currently doing research on finding the above sticks as cheap as possible plus i need a lot of them. I'm looking for wholesale prices and sticks that are of good quality. Would anyone be able to tell me exactly where i can get them. Also rattan stick is it better to have fewer nodes or as many nodes as possible. Which one do you think are better.

thank you and take care

I also suggest www.bloodsport.com

The more nodes, the stronger the stick is supposed to be.

I prefer rattan; kamagong is too heavy for me.

Yeah i always wondered on that. They say kamagong is great for solo work.

I was actually hoping for maybe a supplier from the Philippines. That could provide me with all these, well i guess i'l keep on looking.

take care & i appreciate the help.

Kamagong is good because the extra weight helps improve your speed when you switch back to rattan.

Shipping from the Philippines is extremely high. I'm not convinced that sticks from the Philippines are any better than the ones from bloodsport.

Take care.

What?

They have to be better... they are from the Philippines right.;)

Like most hand made stuff the goods you get from a craftsman in PI are only as good as he is.

I don't care if it came from East Podunk USA if the quality is there.

What you may find in goods from PI is they are CHEAP, which is good for resale.:D

I'm in the exact same situation, and with the high canadian dollar, looks like a good option is to order them directly from the Philippines.

I'm about to take an order from this guy, I exchanges a few emails with him and he's nice to deal with.

you read my mind cybrok. I was looking at the same seller a few days ago because i liked his kamagong daggers.

take care and let me know how the quality is. by the way what are you ordering from them. What do you think about the kamagong dusters great conversation piece eh :)

I will order a pair of rattan sticks with bag and a Kamagong dagger. I waited because I wanted a single edge training knife without the finger grooves. Here is the pic he sent me yesterday:

Emails exchanging is long. But it was expected since the guy is on the other side of the world. Kamagong sticks are not that expensive, but they are heavier so shipping is higher. But for a Canadian, it is not more expensive than ordering in the US.

Kamagong knuckle duster? I don't think it's legal... You don't want the whole package to be kept at the customs because of these :P

Check out ColdSteel's new kali stick !

I've got a pair and like them but
1) They ain't cheap
and
2) They are heavy

I like them for solo practice. The weight makes you slow down and concentrate on form. Then when you switch back to rattan, you are a quicker. My instructor has a bunch of rattan on order from the PI, but I don't know the source.
