I’d like to dress up one of my 535s with a set of G10 or possibly carbon fiber scales. Does anyone make scales the same profile as the OEM FRN scales? I don’t want anything thicker and I tried a set of the flat scales and they sucked.

I have A/M Micarta and G10 on my bugouts. When I looked for the exact same profile as OEM I couldn't find any.

I tried a set of the Flytanium G10 scales and they were disappointing. So thick I could barely activate the axis bar with bare hands and it was impossible with even the thinnest of gloves.

On the left is Black Micarta. I think its from RGT, or something like that. Can't remember anymore. On the right is a OD Flytanium G10. I couldn;t find any scales thinner than these. Probably the only scales OEM thin and something I could live with would be the Carbon Fiber on the S90v model from BM.

What is the finish on your AWT scales and how are they holding up? Looking at purchasing a set of AWT scales or the Rockscale Design Ti Critter scales.
I got the knife in a trade so I don’t know for sure, but I’m assuming they’re just anodized. They don’t appear to be coated with anything.

They’re holding up great. I’ve been carrying the knife nonstop since receiving it and they don’t have a mark on them.

I have another bugout I frankensteined together out of parts that has the factory G10 scales. The AWT scales give a completely different feel to the knife. They’re longer so I can get a better grip.

Thanks they look like they're the stonewashed raw aluminum scales but they don't have a picture on their site of scales that are just stonewashed so I'm just guessing.
