anyone seen 'the sum of all fears'? the one based on a Tom Clancy book?

if you havent seen it and dont want to know one of the finishing scenes stop reading now!

right at the end, the secret agent guy cuts the throat of the guy who sold the a-bomb... you know, hes listening to 'Nessun Dorma', the guy creeps up behind him and 'slit'. what was the knife he used? it was black thats all I saw.

Good luck getting an answer, I asked this right after the movie came out but got nowhere :(

It was just a quick flash but it looked like a Busse basic to me.

Brent...
:p

In the book that describes how Mr Clark became "Mr Clark", his knife of choice was a Kabar. Dunno if he's using one in the movie, but he uses it quite a bit in No Remorse (I think that's the title).

I think it was "Without Remorse." And what ever knife he used sure got the job done!

Clancy knows how to deal out the justice!

Without Remorse was fantastic, by far Clancy's best book, IMO. He used a very basic Kabar with excellent results, and I think chose a Kabar since there are so many they would be hard to trace.

Mr. Clark is definitely someone that I wouldn't want to be on the bad side of, they need bigger actors to play him...Maybe this Vin Diesel guy, if he's good.

ewww, no. The best part about Mr Clark was his "everyman" vibe. He looks normal and acts fairly normal for the most part. It's that underlying current of coldbloodedness that makes him exciting.

they should have made more of that guy he was one of the best characters!

I havent read the book, the only tom clancy novel ive read is 'night moves' from his net force series, that was pretty good i thought

Ka-Bar........should have guessed, there couldnt really have been much choice there, ka bar or busse

the only way to be sure i guess is to get it on DVD when it comes out and freeze frame...

would it be the height of knife crazyness to buy the whole film on DVD purely to freeze frame the final scene to try and make out the knife?
