Some of you bushcraft guys will like this. This is a listing for a bag of 5 chunks of dried chaga fungus harvested from living birch trees in Alaska. It works great as tinder to catch a spark when starting a fire using flint and steel. It works like char cloth but you have a lot more time to work – I recently caught a spark and let the piece smolder for about 15 minutes before attempting to make a fire with it. These are decent size chunks but sizes do vary. They can be broken or cut into smaller pieces or into thin wafers. You can make tea with it as well and I have separate prices for that posted down below.
$17 shipped first class in USA. I can take ApplePay, Venmo or PayPal.
$14 ea. for additional bags (helps to combine shipping).
Scroll down for prices and photos for chunks or ground chaga for tea.
I probably have 30 lots available at the moment and more drying. Flint and steel, knives, tins, etc. not included. This listing is for the chaga pieces only.
It's awesome stuff. Here's a video:

Chaga chunks for tea
These tend to be more dense than the ones I sell for fire tinder. You can brew tea in a crockpot or instapot keeping the temperature below 180˚ so that you don't destroy the beneficial compounds contained in the chaga.
Ground chaga for tea
Some folks prefer their chaga ground and I can provide that as well but it costs a bit more. It is really hard and will kill your coffee grinder or blender.
Chaga powder is the most rapid chaga tea solution. It can be added to a disposable tea bag and steeped for 5-10 minutes for a single cup of tea.
