All sages feel the same?

Been eyeing a sage for a long time when a used sage 3 showed up for sale.

Like it, feels good in my hand but my question is do all versions of the sage only differ by the lock or did they change the ergos from one to another?

Liking this sage 3 and thinking about getting a sage 5

I've held a 1 3 and 5 and the ergos are all very similar. There are some differences like how the 1 has a cutout for the liner lock, and the 3 is slightly heavier than the 1 and 5 because of its locking mechanism. I think the 5 overall was one of my favorites with the 3 being a close second. The lock is very similar to an axis though a little bit tougher of a pull in my experience.

I'm sure the Ti versions will also have slight differences as far as weight and ergos, but they should all have a very similar hand feel.

The 1 and 5 are very similar. The 3 is different for me. It's taller and heavier. It pockets more like a Manix than the other Sages. I don't own a Sage 2 any longer but it seemed similar to the 1 and 5, but also heavier. I didn't have it side-by-side with the others. I haven't held a Sage 4, unfortunately.
